Young buck and PC issues

I use Photoshop Elements 6 to manage my photo catalog, convert RAW format to JPG, manage uploads, and occasionally edit photos (I'd like to learn more of this skill). Unfortunately, I run Elements on the Vista OS. I've had tons of problems. I've finally given up on this and have decided to setup my PC to dual boot XP. Hopefully, this will fix the issues I've been having.

Which brings me to this photo. I'm have serious problems with Elements/Vista and cannot upload my planned photo. So, instead, here's a shot from a few weeks ago of a curious young buck. He wondered into our backyard as I was refilling the bird feeders during a lull in a snowstorm. He gave a few poses, hoping I'm sure, for some samples of the bird food (don't feed the deer!).

Nice shot. He certainly has a curious look on his face, furthered by the slight tilt of his head.

Vista can definitely be a pain. I dual boot also, and I spend almost all my time in XP. Less resources used, better program and driver compatibility, less cluttered interface...just a few of the things I like in XP. Good luck!

Wonderful photo! I use PSE6 on my Dell 1720 laptop running Vista and haven't run into compatibility problems yet ... though my system DOES crash periodically when I'm online blogging and I do miss XP.

Whoops ... I meant to change my link to Happily Retired Gal where I did Scenic Sunday this week. Sorry about that.

Thanks everyone! That buck is probably wondering why I don't just stick with Linux...
