The Eagle

My mom is not the only artist in my family. My dad is a wood carver. This picture is a close up of a eagle bust that he carved and painted. I keep bugging him to carve me a life size ostrich, and he keeps refusing.

Oh, that is incredible! Your dad is most definitely an artist! You obviously come from a very artiistic background, no wonder you're a great photographer! Thanks so much for sharing and have a great week!

He is truly an artist. The eagle has expression. It's not easy to reproduce that lifelike quality. My parents are both gone now, they were both artists too.

Your fater is quite an artist. I love all of your posts. Bodie is a few miles (well, maybe 30) from our summer home so I have a special fondness for that subject.

That is amazing talent.
I wonder how a carved life size ostrich would look like!

It is good to have an artistic family. Just keep bugging him, he might carve a life sized elephant for you.
