Male and female Blue-Winged Teal at Old Bent's Fort National Historic Site near La Junta, Co.
Original photo had flat grey, hazy sky. I replaced it with a sky with some interesting clouds.
I like the feeling that the viewer is flying along with the Teals.
Be sure fly on over to Camera Critters.

Interesting image and composition.
Yes, sir, interesting sky, indeed! That's beautiful!
Very cool effect with that photo fix. My first thought was "Wow, was he hang-gliding AND taking photos?" Not sure how one would do that, but that's the impression it made on me. :)
now that's a picture I'd like on my wall.sandy
Very nice background replacement. It does make me feel I'm there flying alongside them, but now I also want to look forward again so I don't fly into a tower or hot air balloon or something.
Wow! I've been goosed! The added clouds really make the shot extra special:) Bravo!
Wow, that is amazing! I do feel like I'm flying along with them. That would be so nice...
Flying with the birds ... something I've always wanted to do!
Great shot. Nice job with the background, certainly makes it more interesting.
WOW... that is a really great shot !!!
Very nicely captured :-)
Must be the week to manipulate our photos ;)
Love what you've done... however, I would love to see the original. Seeing the transformation can be interesting... to me anyway.
I took a close look at a large version - nice work with the deep-etc of the birds!
And a parting commment, I'd start to add a copyright line somewhere on your photos... that's my point of view.
