May Flowers

All of those April (snow) showers we had are finally paying off in the proverbial May flowers. Spring is really here!

For other signs of spring, step over to Thursday Challenge where the theme is "SPRING" (Birds, Flowers, Puddles, Trees Budding, Spring Cleaning, Young Animals,...)

"Dart board" composition works here. Depth of field is spot on. Simple, nice pic! Happy TC! :)

Yes spring has finally arrived. I stepped out into my back yard this morning, and it was filled with the sweet smell of a plum tree in full bloom. Precious moments.

Lovely shot of the flower.

Thanks everyone.

I wish I knew what sort of flower this was. I've looked through our flower books and on line. No luck.

Photo Cache - I finally found out what sort of flower this is. It is a Anemone pulsatilla, or commonly, the Pasque Flower. Apparently, its on of the first flowers to start blooming in Colorado.
