Blue Morning

Early morning at Avalanche lake in Glacier National Park. This was the last, and only morning that I got up early for photo. The next morning I work up with the flu. There went my motivation for the next few days.

This is another HDR made up of a set of 6 images. The parameters were chosen to push the image towards the more surreal end of the spectrum.

Be sure to visit Scenic Sundays.

You really made it if you wanted surrealism. The colours were quite incredible. That place alone would have been enough.

It's awesome! This layer affect sure makes the images jump out, more 3-D like. Sorry to hear about the flu.

The natural landscape is already magnificent but your HDR image makes it look other-worldly! I like it! Happy Sunday!

Magnificent view ... love the sun just catching the tip of the craggy mountains and your edit makes ME want to do some more experimenting of my own! Spectacular. Sorry you got the flu.
Hugs and blessings,

Fine capture and processing, Russ. Like it a lot and those colours are very appealing. Especially like the touch of gold on the main peak. Nice!
