Skies above Waterton
While in Waterton, we took a boat tour down to the southern end of the lake which is in Glacier National Park in the USA. Incredibly beautiful!
Strangely enough, "they" cut down all the trees along the border between Canada and the USA. There is a point on the lake where one can actually see the border between the two countries. Heck of a lot of work! [Edit] You can see the border Google Maps.
On other news, I was invited to attend the Belvedere Blues Festival in order to take photos of the 3-day event. Pretty cool, that! I'll be sure to post a few of those photos on this blog.
Be sure to visit Sky Watch Fridays.

I like this a lot :-)
A very gorgeous view of the lake. I've seen a satellite photo of the border rape of forest, quite ugly. Congrats on the invite, have fun and I look forward to hearing about it.
Awesome view of the lake and mountains under a very dramatic sky. A beautiful photo.
My SkyWatch is at Through Squirrel Eyes
Beautiful. Hope to see it someday.
Beautiful scene. Love the mountains and those puffs of clouds
Utterly perfect.
What a beautiful capture. I could stand on that spot and take in the beauty for hours.
Have a great weekend.

What a great place. I hope to get out that way sometime soon
That view was just getting better and better the more I looked at it. The clouds were the cherry on top of the most delicious cake.
This scene is gorgeous. That dramatic sky really adds an pizzaz to an already beautiful view. That's funny about the border. I wonder if Canada and the US shared the timber...
