Maroon Bells I

I've seen a lot of amazing photos of the Maroon Bells. It's said that it is the most photographed place in Colorado.

After spending only a few days in the area, I can safely say that no photo has ever come close to capturing the magnificence of this view. I think that my lower jaw is still laying of the beach.

Like the Grand Canyon that no one can truly capture, but you sure came close. That is very Dramatic, so full of depth, the reflection so fine, contrast of color....almost like a painting. Excellent!

Thanks Gaelyn.

The canyon is, well, grand! It's a whole different scale of beauty (man, I need to get back there, its been too long). And there's lots of other places that are also too awesome to capture.

But, for some reason, the Bells trumped them all in my first sight of them...

Awesome photograph!

I do agree that for some places photographs simply cannot match seeing them with one's own eyes.
